Young French Midfielder Finds Home in Berlin

In a surprise move, Lucas Tousart has left Hertha Berlin for rivals Union Berlin. The 26-year-old French midfielder joined Hertha in January 2020 but spent half a year on loan at Olympique Lyon before returning to Berlin in summer 2020.

Tousart has now joined Union Berlin, where he has quickly settled in. "I find the people at the club and in the city to be really nice," he said. "I like their mindset."

Tousart is a defensive midfielder who has represented France at youth level. He is known for his tackling ability and his distribution skills.
